An Adroit Apprenticeship
At Adroit we pride ourselves on doing things right and this includes the very important job of training our apprentices. We use our Watch it, Walk it, Work it! framework, integrating your day to day learning with your college course at every possible opportunity, while continuing to install amazing bathrooms and maintaining our award winning and impeccable reputation for customer service.
Here is some more information to consider before completing your application on the green button
Your working week is spent in our customers homes, learning on the job across Buckinghamshire. Therefore, you will need a driving licence, your own vehicle and insurance policy that allows business use (we have heard Ticker is good!).
You will be working alongside our experienced Mentor Installers and also have regular check ins with our Operations Manager to reflect and plan your learning. We also have quarterly company social events, an annual team development day and industry related training and visits when our schedules allow.
Reece - earning while he’s learning
Your Apprenticeship Studies take place at the Bicester Construction Campus, which is part of Abingdon & Witney College where you will be studying the Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative framework. This takes the form of block release, so you will typically spend one week (5 days) a month at college as well as having regular site meetings from your college tutor. The apprenticeship lasts 15 months with a further 3 months assessment window at the end.
You will be rewarded with above average salary (typically between £16,016 to £22,000 depending on previous experience), plus mileage expenses, Vitality healthcare and a generous £360 annual tool allowance.
Beyond your apprenticeship we have a clear career path, through trainee installer, right up to Mentor Installer. Your salary is based on your skills set and includes generous bonus, holiday ladder up to 33 days and a chance to receive company profit shares too.
So, if you have an NVQ level 2 (preferably in plumbing) or equivalent experience, are hard working, self-motivated, looking for long term career progression in our industry please do tell us more…
Ashton is named BiKBBi Apprentice of the Year!
ps - typically our intake for apprentices is September, but we will be in touch with more details on our current timelines once your application is received.
